BSc Degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related disciplines; MS or PhD will have an advantage

Requirements

• Good knowledge in embedded programming, computer vision, and python programming
• Knowledge on using CNC, metal injection modeling or other 3D printing technologies

Job Responsibilities

• Work in R&D and engineering team to design and develop a state-of-the-art surgical robotic system
• Research and develop novel surgical robots and robotic components
• Design, develop and test robotic control algorithms, methods and programs
• Apply machine learning and AI techniques in robotics
• Monitor and optimize the performance of robotic systems
• Provide technical field trial support, trouble shooting, and conduct timely fault rectification of technical issues related to product and applications
• Develop and implement product testing tools and procedures
• Provide support on the regulatory approval (EMC, Safety) processes
• Support clinical trials for regulatory approval.
• Manage product development from design, tooling to production, selection of materials and strong knowledge on manufacturing process
• Document the design and the development process in accordance with the Company’s quality control requirements
• Support quality management team and maintain planned quality objectives
• Review with Line Manager to improve the quality of Company products at the design & development stages
• Acquire and set up the needed equipment, tools and materials for the product and prototype development
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers
• Perform other duties assigned by the company

Qualification

BSc Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computing, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines; MSc or PhD will have an advantage

Requirement

• Over 3 years working experience in electronics, device design & development
• Clinical experience would be highly desirable, but not required
• Extensive experience in circuit design and multi-layers PCB design
• Professional experience working with circuit design, MCU based hardware design, software (Altium, etc.)
• Professional experience working in embedded Linux and/or real-time operating system desirable, but not required
• Good knowledge in microcontroller and proficient in C/C++/C# programming language
• Knowledge in IEC safety and MEI/EMC requirements is an advantage
• Knowledge in ISO13485 quality system and ISO62304 is an advantage

Qualification

Graduating candidate in industrial design / mechanical engineering or related disciplines, or with 1-3 years working experience in related field.

• Excellent in SolidWorks, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite (AI, PS etc).
• Ability to understand and develop innovative mechanical designs solutions is an advantage.
• Familiarity with plastics, metal applications and tooling manufacturing processes.
• Engineering background is a plus. 
• Strong presentation skill both on paper (Illustrator/InDesign/PowerPoint) and in person.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional R&D teams and establish the design brief, including the concept, performance and production criteria in line with company core mission and value
• Support senior industrial designer in R&D projects
• Working on ideas as part of a team or developing design concepts using CAD
• Identifying the suitability and availability of materials

Qualification

BSc Degree or above in biomedical engineering, medicine, medical/life sciences, clinical research management, quality management or related disciplines, with at least 3 year post-qualification experience in clinical studies, trial management or operations.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulations of clinical trials are necessary.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the set up and arrange of clinical/pre-clinical trials;
• Collect and document clinical trial information in accordance with the applicable Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines for clinical studies;
• Identify needs, bottlenecks and deviation found during the studies;
• Participate in research and development projects on request, or take on other tasks which contribute to the optimisation of the processes within the company;
• Support the preparation of ethical and regulatory approval processes;
• Design and perform preliminary tests prior to clinical/pre-clinical studies;
• Record the experiments/tests/studies/trial results and generate the associated reports for internal use and for regulatory approval processes;
